The time has come where it is necessary for URC to seek additional funding to continue to provide community support and quality care. With welfare reform, deinstitutionalization of the mentally ill, and continued corporate downsizing we can only expect greater financial hardships than we are already experiencing today.

URC is committed to making a positive and permanent change for those in need. We hope to contribute to the elimination of poverty and the associated issues of violence, chronic unemployment and welfare dependency. As a community non-profit we have demonstrated the ability to create an institute of sound programs, responsible management, and the determination to accomplish our objectives. URC believes with adequate funding there is no limit to what we can do to improve opportunities for the community we serve.
